Mapping Nottinghamshire is a Derby QUAD Participatory Photography project.

From 5th Feb QUAD will be in residence at Rufford Gallery, inspiring you to ‘Map Your World’! Through camera and phone-photography, explore your Nottinghamshire. Share your thoughts, memories, ideas and inspirations.

The photographic installation in Rufford Gallery will grow and change your as photos and journeys are added to the map day-by-day.

To take part just grab your camera/mobile phone and photograph your own ‘My World’ moment. Come to the exhibition at Rufford Gallery to print out your photo and attach it to the growing map.

Or upload your Nottinghamshire ‘My World’ photo to this blog via ‘Submit’, tell us where you took the photo and why, and we’ll do the rest.

By submitting your photographs on-line for this project you:

• confirm that you have permission to submit the photograph(s) and represent and warrant that you own all rights to the image(s)

• Give your permission for Nottinghamshire County Council and close partner organisations to use your photograph in any publicity for any purpose. This may include, among others, advertising, promotion, marketing, web publishing.

• confirm that where people are included in the photograph you have their permission to use their image and in the case of under 18’s and vulnerable adults you have the permission of their parent or guardian.

• confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.
